The Thursday After

First post! I often spend time after the Sunday service at WMB Church preparing to lead a home group. A blog is a better way to share those musings than the email I have been using … which is so 20th century.

I usually attend the Waterloo site (which is also posted online), so that’s my starting point.

Today Michelle wrapped up the series on how to read scripture with one more handy way to read the bible: read a passage or chapter in relation to the arc of the whole bible.

I personally have found this “reference the big picture” method to be very helpful. The Bible Project first showed me this approach and their “Story of the Bible” video is just the best 5 minute summary of the Bible.
